Overall, the week boasts over 500 programs that cover a multitude of topics from getting involved and learning about NYU, to staying safe and navigating public transportation. Join President Andy Hamilton, fellow new undergraduate students, alumni, and university officials at the Presidential Welcome of the newest class. Immediately following will be The Reality Show: NYU -- a gritty, funny musical about the lives of NYU students as they experience an array of confounding, confusing, and exciting issues. The Reality Show: NYU is written, performed, and produced by NYU students.
NYU Portraits creates a vibrant and colorful evening where diversity meets the stage to invigorate our passion for social justice, and service through the arts. This event is a campus tradition that utilizes an innovative approach to highlighting the importance of diversity as an enriching and transformative experience for our incoming first year and transfer students.
A Welcome Week tradition... wrapping up the week with the Ball! Each year is unique with a new theme. Past themes include Good Vibes Ball, Beach Ball, Zombie Ball, Glo Ball, Throwback Ball, and Music Festi-Ball! Get ready to dance the night away at this multi-floor, multi-DJ event. This will definitely be a night to remember. The 2017 theme was...Star ball.
