Saturday, August 29, 2015 is NYU Welcome Day. This day complements Residence Hall Move-In with a Parent Welcome and Information Fair. New undergraduate students and their family members are invited to stop by the Kimmel Center for refreshments, information, and to meet representatives from various NYU offices and organizations, and students can pick up their NYU ID. Join President Sexton, fellow new undergraduate students, alumni, and university officials at for the Presidential Welcome. Immediately following will be The Reality Show: NYU -- a gritty, funny musical about the lives of NYU students as they experience an array of confounding, confusing, and exciting issues. The Reality Show: NYU is written, performed, and produced by NYU students, and directed by Tisch School of the Arts professor Elizabeth Swados.
NYU Portraits creates a vibrant and colorful evening where diversity meets the stage to invigorate our passion for social justice, and service through the arts. This event is a campus tradition that utilizes an innovative approach to highlighting the importance of diversity as an enriching and transformative experience for our incoming first year and transfer students.
A Welcome Week tradition... wrapping up the week with the Ball! Each year is unique, so stay tuned for the big reveal of this year's theme. Past themes include Beach Ball, Zombie Ball, Glo Ball, & Throwback Ball! Get ready to dance the night away at this two floor, two DJ event. This will definitely be a night to remember.
