Aziza Barnes is a poet from Los Angeles, living in New York. She is a current member of 2012’s Slam NYU team, ranking 3rd in the nation at CUPSI, a national collegiate poetry slam. She is currently working on her second one-woman show and has had her short fiction published in NYU’s university press West 10th. She is the self-declared 10th member of Wu-Tang, wears vibrant pants and re-reads The Velveteen Rabbit for an answer to her favorite question, ‘what is real?’ If you want to ask her your favorite questions, her website is asdarkthingsareloved.tumblr.com.
