New York University's 181st Commencement was simultaneously webcast on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM (EDT) for those who were unable to attend the ceremony at Yankee Stadium.
President John Sexton and Board of Trustees Chairman Martin Lipton presided over the event, which presented honorary degrees to David Boies, Litigator and Chairman, Boies, Schiller Flexner LLP and NYU School of Law Alum; Claire Marie Fraser, Genomicist; Omara Khan Masoudi, Afghan Museum Director and Preserver of Cultural Patrimony; and Oliver Stone, Film Director and NYU Tisch Alum.
