The Yankees strive to provide an accessible environment for all their Guests at Yankee Stadium. Wheelchair accessible and designated aisle seats are available at various price points and locations and include Yankees Premium seat locations. The Stadium also offers enhanced accessibility for Guests with hearing loss or low vision and for Guests who are deaf or blind.
Each person wishing to enter Yankee Stadium must have a ticket for the event. Gates open at 9:00 am. You must present your admission ticket to Yankee Stadium personnel at your assigned gate. Candidates may enter only at Gates 2 and 4; guests may enter only at Gate 6.
The Stadium also offers enhanced accessibility for guests with hearing loss or low vision and for guests who are deaf or blind.
Wheelchair accessible seating is available on all Guest Seating levels at Yankee Stadium on a first-come, first-served basis. Yankee Stadium personnel will direct you to those seats on Commencement day. Guests who do not have tickets or a need for wheelchair accessible seating will not be permitted to stand or sit in these areas.
The deadline to submit an electronic request for ticketed seating for candidates and/or guests with disabilities was Friday, April 29th. Since the deadline has passed you will need to follow the instructions here to place a late request for these tickets.

Assistive Listening Devices are available at no charge at the Guest Relations and Ticket Sales Booth adjacent to Gate 6 in the Great Hall. A valid credit card or acceptable form of picture identification (e.g., valid driver's license or non-driver government issued photo ID card) is required as a deposit. Guests have a choice of an ear speaker, stereo headset or neckloop. Please allow time to obtain the ALD before the ceremony begins.
The Yankee Stadium/161st Street station (4, B, and D trains) is wheelchair accessible. (Please call 718-330-1234 or check service advisories at www.mta.info to ascertain functioning elevators.)
There are two dedicated open-caption video boards for Guests who are deaf or have hearing loss: one in left field, just below Section 233B, and one in right field, just below Section 206.
If you are traveling by car with someone who uses a wheelchair or cannot walk long distances, we suggest you arrive early and drop them off at Gate 6 before you park. Please be aware these guests will not be able to enter the stadium early.
The parking garage closest to the stadium is the River Avenue Garage at River Avenue and East 162nd Street and The Ruppert Plaza Garage which is located on 161st Street and Ruppert Place.
The Access-A-Ride bus stop is located on East 161st Street, adjacent to Gate 4.
Electrical outlets are available for recharging wheelchairs and other medical equipment. Please ask Yankee Stadium personnel for assistance.
Two elevators that provide Guests with access to the Field Level and Bleachers are located at Gate 8. The Yankees provide permanently stationed elevator operators in each stadium elevator used by the general public.
