The 22nd annual Grad Alley will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Grad Alley is held RAIN OR SHINE.
Grad Alley is an annual celebration, held the night before Commencement, to mark the accomplishments of the graduating class. The Class of 2018 and their families and friends are invited to attend.
Join your fellow graduates for festivity, food, and fun in this street fair near Washington Square. Games, refreshments, and entertainment will line the streets of West Third Street, LaGuardia Place, Mercer Street, and West 4th Street, including the NYU Jazz Cafe, jugglers, Lady Liberty, and more. Stop by the Kimmel Center for more food and entertainment - and catch a performance by the Illusionist at the Skirball Center.
After sunset, look up Fifth Avenue and see the iconic Empire State Building lit violet in tribute to the Class of 2018.
Grad Alley takes place rain or shine.
Graduating students can receive up to four Grad Alley admission wristbands (one for the candidate and three for guests). The wristbands will be included automatically with each candidate's order of All-University Commencement tickets.
Wristbands allow three visits to the snack locations and one visit to the alumni tent.
Pick up your Grad Alley wristbands during Commencement ticket distribution at the Kimmel Center for University Life, 60 Washington Square South, between LaGuardia Place and Thompson Street, on the 4th Floor.
