Acquisitions Department

The Acquisitions department is responsible for acquiring books, periodicals, videos, scores, microforms, and other materials in all formats for the Bobst Library collections.

The department, organized by the functions of ordering, serials receiving, monographs receiving and invoicing/payments, receives order requests from library faculty who are responsible for the selection of materials added to the Bobst library collections. Over 50,000 monographic volumes, 13,000 serial subscriptions, and 8500 invoices are processed for Bobst Library each year.
