The Library is located in Midtown Manhattan, between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas(Sixth Avenue). For more information, maps, and subway and bus frequencies, visit the Metropolitan Transportation Authority website.

BY TRAIN:
We are located between the following routes:
The Long Island Rail Road stops at Penn Station, where you can then use the A, C, E, 1, 2, or 3 trains to reach 42nd Street.
Metro North stops at Grand Central Station, a few blocks east of the library.

BY BUS:
The M5, M6, and M7 run uptown along the Avenue of the Americas, andthe M1, M2, M3, and M4 run downtown along Fifth Avenue. Additionally,the Q32 bus runs uptown on Madison Avenue and downtown on Fifth Avenue to and from Penn Station.
