I see our action today as the institution of discrimination in favor of black Americans." | On April 11, the University Senate proceeded to adopt the recommendations of the student faculty committee and of BASA (Black Allied Students Association) by approving the recruitment of black professors and students. The University also agrees to establishing a Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute to "increase university research and instruction in subjects dealing with history, culture and current Afro-American affairs." |
