In March 1967, some 300 hundred students turn out for a teach-in held to discuss the issues of the war in Vietnam and university reform. Panelists debate on America's involvement in the war, the University's participation in the war effort and the NYU power structure, which Professor Conor Cruise O'Brien compares to the royalty of Medieval times.
