Graduating Student Recognition


As part of Moving Up Day XII, an annual event, we would like to honor and acknowledge all LGBT undergraduate and graduate students who will be graduating in May.

 

Each graduating student will be presented with a certificate & rainbow tassel to symbolize their achievement and serve as a souvenir of their NYU experience - and you can show your pride at Commencement.


NOTE: You MUST attend the Moving Up Day Ceremony in order to recieve your recognition!

Ceremony and Reception
Moving Up Day XII will be held Friday, April 24, 2009, at 7pm in the Kimmel Center for University Life, Room #914. This event is open to friends, family, and the NYU community. State issued ID is required upon entry to Kimmel.

Moving Up Day is an annual celebration honoring NYU students, faculty, staff, organizations, and community members for outstanding work, leadership, programming, dedication, and contributions to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community of New York University and beyond. Moving Up Day also recognizes graduating LGBT and Ally students (both undergraduate and graduate).
