LA PIETRA is an exclusive 57-acre estate located on one of the foothills surrounding Florence.  Composed of five villas and one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy, La Pietra is one of the most important cultural centers in Italy.  The main villa, Villa La Pietra houses the famous Acton Art Collection.  Villa Sassetti serves as La Pietra’s International Conference and Events Center.  The other three villas, Colletta, Natalia and Ulivi are home to New York University in Florence, a center for overseas studies.
