Kimmel Center | Reservable Spaces | Rehearsals

  1.0 ELIGIBILITY

1.1  Students must be matriculated in a degree program in one of the schools of NYU.

1.2  Students must submit an authorization letter from their professor ensuring that they are enrolled in a class that requires rehearsals or auditions. This letter is good for one semester of rehearsals.

1.3  Once the letter is received, the student will receive log in capability for Kimmel One Stop and will then be able to request space online or by filling out a space request form in Kimmel Operations.


  2.0 RESERVATION

2.1  Rehearsal space can be requested no more than seven (7) days in advance.

2.2  Notification of reservation confirmation is by email.

2.3  A reservation cannot be transferred to another person or student.

2.4  Kimmel Operations reserves the right to refuse and/or cancel any reservation at any time for any reason.

2.5  New York University and the Kimmel Center do not assume any liability for articles that are stolen, misplaced or left on University property.

2.6  After three (3) no-shows, students will not be permitted to book space.

2.7  Cancellation of space must be made not less than 24 hours prior to reservation through Kimmel One Stop, phone call, email or in person.


  3.0 ROOM

3.1  All rooms are as is.

3.2  Furniture is not to be removed from rooms.

3.3  Nothing is to be taped to the walls or hallways and the door cannot be obscured or propped open.

3.4  Students are to refrain from loud noises and music as programs and meetings are being held adjacent to the rehearsal rooms.

3.5  Students and guests must leave the room promptly at the conclusion of the reservation.

3.6  No audio visual equipment is provided.

3.7  Filming is not allowed anywhere in the Kimmel Center.

3.8  If there is anything wrong with the room the Kimmel Operations is to be immediately contacted at 212-998-4900.


  4.0 GUESTS

4.1  Students must provide a guest list to the Security Officer in the Kimmel lobby.

4.2  All guests must have a valid government issued ID card.

4.3  Children under age 18 cannot enter the Kimmel Center without a parent or guardian. If children under the age of 18 are invited please complete the Childcare Questionnaire available in the Operations Office.

4.4  Students are responsible for all the actions of their guests.


  
5.0 VIOLATION OF ANY OF THESE POLICIES MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF FUTURE RESERVATIONS IN THE KIMMEL CENTER.
