Kimmel Center | Policies & Procedures | Guests - Outside Organizations

  GUESTS - OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS

A Guest Organization must be a 501 (C) 3 not-for-profit organization that adheres to the educational mission of New York University and is sponsored by an NYU department. See Kimmel Policies for a detailed description of policies and procedures.


  1.0 REQUESTING SPACE

1.1 Complete the online Room Request Form and email with a copy of your organization’s 501 (C) 3 certificate.

1.2 Your application will be reviewed by Kimmel Operations and you will receive a response within 48 hours.


  2.0 ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATION

2.1 If your application is accepted and space is available you will be sent a Kimmel Contract to sign and a confirmation of the space reserved and fees for that space.

2.2 b. In order to confirm the space return the signed contract with the required deposit and a copy of the organization’s liability insurance.


  3.0 FINALIZING YOUR PROGRAM

3.1 Make decisions on your room setup, media requirements and catering.

3.2 Contact Top of the Square Catering at 212-998-4690 at least 10 days prior to your event to finalize catering arrangements.

3.3 An Event Coordinator from Kimmel Operations will contact you 10 days prior to your event to finalize your room setup, media requirements and any security needed.
