The Kimmel Galleries in New York University's Kimmel Center for University Life are dedicated to exhibiting a broad range of artistic work originating from the University community. The Kimmel Center Galleries encourages student, faculty, staff, and alumni artists, Academic Departments, and student clubs to present proposals for exhibitions to the Kimmel Curator.

The Galleries represent a full spectrum of media that oftentimes relate to class work, to a specific academic program, and to University departments and student clubs. Because of the international character of NYU, many of the exhibits focus on students' experiences abroad through student abroad programs or home countries. The Galleries also provide an exciting environment for learning and for experimentation relating class work and special scholarly pursuits to artistic expression.

Curator: Jovana Stokic is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, writing her dissertation on contemporary feminine self-representations. Kimmel.galleries@nyu.edu
