Voicemail
NYU provides free voicemail for each telephone number. Roommates share the voice mailbox associated with a shared telephone number.
Calls are directed to voicemail after four rings. You can have the number of rings adjusted to a minimum of two or a maximum of six. To make a request, please call ITS Client Services at 83333 (1-212-998-3333 from off campus) and select option 2, or send email to telephone.service@nyu.edu.
Voice Mailbox Storage Space
Your voice mailbox has 12 minutes of storage, including your greeting. Once you have reached the limit, your mailbox cannot receive any more messages. Delete messages after you have listened to them to provide space for new messages. The system permanently deletes new, old, and unopened messages after 7 days.
Creating a Password and Logging In
