ITS Communications & Computing Services provides telephone and voicemail service and support to the NYU community, comprising 26,500 telephones, more than 11,000 voice mail boxes, 145 Automated Attendants, and 60 call centers. Telephones (Business)

The Telephones (Business) service provides desk-based phone services for NYU offices, faculty, and staff. Additional services that can be requested include: voicemail; automatic call distribution; international dialing; extension-to-cellular with local cell phone telephone number; IP Telephony (such as IP Softphone, IP Agent), and other services.

Telephones (Residential)

Telephone service for students in residence halls. Includes call waiting and 3-way calling. Voice mail available upon request.

Voice Mail (Business)

NYU's voice mail system provides an easy-to-use service for recording and distributing phone messages. The voice mail system is available 24x7 to NYU faculty, staff, and administrators. Messages can be retrieved via touch-tone phone from anywhere in the world.

Voice Mail (Residential)

Free voice mail is available upon request for each residence hall student telephone number. Roommates share the voice mailbox associated with a shared telephone number.
