Service Description
ITS provides telephone service for NYU offices, faculty, staff, and administrators that includes voicemail, automatic call distribution, extension-to-cellular with local cell phone telephone number, IP Telephony (such as IP Softphone, IP Agent), and other services. Extension-to-cellular allows phone calls to NYU office phones to also ring on cell phones. IP Softphone allows users to assume the identity of their NYU extension and desk phone from a remote computer or laptop. IP Agent allows service desk staff to assume the identity of their NYU desk phone from a remote computer or laptop to login and answer calls.

To request, have your Communications Representative submit an ITS Communications Request form (www.nyu.edu/its/forms/communications_form.pdf ) signed by a Budget Officer.
