Service Description
ITS provides wired network connections throughout NYU (in offices, labs, classrooms, and public spaces) for on-campus local area networks (LANs), campus-wide wide area networks (WAN), and access to the Internet (both general and high-speed research networks). Departments can place orders for installations, moves, and changes to these connections. ITS works with NYU’s Facilities and Construction Management unit in networking new or renovated space and is responsible for installation, activation, and maintenance of data jacks across the campus including NYU offices, facilities, and residence halls.

To request, have your Communications Representative submit an ITS Communications Request form (www.nyu.edu/its/forms/communications_form.pdf), signed by a Budget Officer.
