Service Description
LDAP Authentication is the method for signing in to a variety of NYU services (including NYUHome, Albert, NYU E-mail, NYU Google Apps for Education, and Blackboard) using your NetID and password. All applications that use Single Sign-On (SSO)—where you sign in once and have seamless access to other SSO-enabled application—leverage LDAP Authentication. Some client departments use LDAP Authentication as the method for signing into their departmental applications.
