Service Description
ITS offers secure, climate-controlled environments with electricity and rack space at the South and East Data Centers. Backup electricity is provided via a generator in case of a power outage at the South Data Center.
Target Audience
NYU IT departments that run and maintain their own servers, but prefer to have their servers located in a centrally run data center.

Rate
South Data Center (Administrative use): Use of facility is $1,750/kilowatt/year, at the power faceplate rating, and $800/rack/year. Client department pay for custom network or electrical requirements.
South Data Center (Research Use): $400/rack/month, and $800/rack/year.
East Data Center (no generator): Use of the facility is: $1,400/kilowatt/year, at the power faceplate rating, and $800/rack/year. Client department pay for custom network or electricity requirements.
