a network server. MacSSH establishes a secure connection

MacSSH provides the ability to log on to
NYU network servers such as i5.nyu.edu from a remote
Macintosh. You must have an account on the NYU-NET server
to establish a telnet or FTP session. To establish a
connection to a server outside the NYU network, you must
first establish a telnet session to an NYU-NET server
and then telnet out from the command line. Telnet can
be used to surf the Internet using its text-only interface. |

Excellent virus scanning utility. When a
virus is detected, Norton removes the virus or deletes
the file if it cannot be safely removed. This software
is available on the NYU-NET CD. Install it and protect
your work. Viruses can be transmitted from sources such
as the Internet, e-mail attachments, and infected computers.
