Bobst Library's Electronic Text Center

Bobst's Electronic Text Center (ETC) is located in the Avery Fisher Center (2nd Floor). This research and instructional facility is designed to help faculty and students incorporate computer-based textual information into their research, study and teaching.

The ETC provides access to a number of electronic texts and databases, primarily in the humanities. Many of these texts can be manipulated with special tools for the creation of concordances, wordlists, indexes and statistics.

Further information, including a complete catalog of the e-text collection, can be found on the World-Wide Web at {http://www.nyu.edu/library/bobst/electron /etc/etc.htm} Replacement URL: http://library.nyu.edu/collections/find_ejournals.html To find out more or to set up an appointment, contact Kurt De Belder, Electronic Text Coordinator and Librarian for Western European Literatures and Languages, at 998-2515 or via e-mail at {debelder@is.nyu.edu}.
