Come celebrate the first annual GIS Day at the NYU Information Fair on Wednesday, November 14, from noon-3pm in the Research Commons on the 5th floor of Bobst Library. GIS Day is a worldwide celebration focused on geographic information systems (GIS). These systems are designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of geographically referenced data. Stop by this event to check out the information booths, see lots of maps, meet GIS faculty and professionals, and learn more about GIS tools and spatial data resources here at NYU.
