NYU IT maintains a variety of facilities and service locations on campus in support of NYU faculty, staff, administrators, and students. See below for an overview, and browse the menu at the left for a map and details about each location.

NYU IT Service Desk

The NYU IT Service Desk at 10 Astor Place, 4th floor, is the first point of contact for technology services and help from Information Technology Services, providing support for the NYU community in the use of computer, email, and Internet-related services, including NYUHome. For information about hours and contact information, see the NYU IT Service Desk page.

NYU IT Computer Labs

NYU IT computer labs – which include Academic Technology Centers and CoLabs – are open to all NYU students in degree or diploma programs, NYU faculty and staff, and individual holders of Coursework or Individual Lab Access Accounts. For information about obtaining these accounts, please see NYU IT Accounts. Please bring your NYUCard with you, as you will be required to swipe it when you enter either type of lab.

NYU IT Academic Technology Centers offer specialized and advanced technology resources and assistance for your course-related work and research. These include high-end Macintosh and Windows systems, NYU Print Service stations, DVD drives and related equipment, a wide variety of up-to-date software, and high-speed connections to the Internet, and NYURoam wireless access. Additional resources at the two large, modern technology centers include flatbed scanners; audio, video, and image editing; web and print publishing; and staff to assist students in the use of the labs and other NYU IT resources.

NYU IT CoLabs are a special kind of lab designed for student collaboration, where you can use a public computer or bring your own, and work individually or with others. In addition to NYURoam wireless access, these two NYU IT CoLabs offer public computers (dual-boot Mac and Windows) with web browsers, Microsoft Office software, and high-speed connections to Internet resources; NYU Print Stations; and areas for individual and collaborative work.

For information about each lab's location and facilities, see the NYU IT Computer Labs page. For information about NYUHome stations (public computers) around campus, see www.nyu.edu/its/homestations (many of these locations also appear on our Map of NYU IT Locations).

The Digital Studio

The Digital Studio on the fifth floor of Bobst Library, South Wing, is a collaborative facility of NYU IT and the Libraries, and is NYU's gateway to digital services supporting scholarship and teaching. Digital Studio staff are available to provide consultation to NYU faculty and advanced scholars. For more information about available services and to request an appointment, see the Digital Studio website.
