ITS, along with NYU Libraries, offers a wide range of technology resources and assistance to help faculty with research, teaching and learning.
Within ITS, Academic Technology Services works closely with faculty and graduate students to help them select appropriate technology to reach their teaching and learning goals. Discussions typically encompass avenues to fulfill instructional goals both inside and outside of the classroom, the selection of equipment and/or software, as well as aiding with the adaptation and authoring of new material in a multimedia/Web environment.

- See the Research Computing section of this site for information about ITS' high performance computing, research software, data services, and advanced networking.
- NYU Google Apps for Education provide a variety of tools and services in support of research, collaboration, and instruction.
- Access to and training in web-based content management services and delivery tools, including NYU Classes, NYU Stream, and more.
- Capture edit and encode video, audio or images or documents for sharing or upload to various repositories—provided by the Digital Studio.
- Collaboration technologies, including NYU Wikis, NYU Blogs, Internet2, real-time video communications tools, and network-based multi-site performances.
- Advanced digital media services, including museum quality digital prints, laser cut flat materials, and 3D color rapid prototyping.
- Image and file management resources including Files 2.0, Webspace, and the Faculty Digital Archive.
- Consultation on your teaching and learning projects plus personalized training on software, platforms, techniques, and tools for a variety of services—provided by the Digital Studio.
- Support and training for data-related work in statistical, quantitative, qualitative, and GIS areas is available through the Data Service Studio.
