Teaching and Learning
ITS Academic Technology Services, in collaboration with NYU Libraries and Global Technology Services, provides a broad range of services designed to assist faculty and students in their use of technology for teaching, learning, and research. In addition to requesting online support services, faculty and students may visit one of the following facilities to work with a support specialist.
The Digital Studio
Located on the 5th floor of Bobst Library, the Digital Studio provides support for several services relating to teaching, learning, and research:
- Live video/audio capture
- Instructional technology tools & services
- Software and data services
- Digital scholarship
- File storage and management
- Scanning services
- Web publishing

Academic Technology Centers and CoLabs
Academic Technology Services supports four distinct facilities that provide access to high-end computers (both Mac and Windows) and a variety of academic software. The CoLabs are designed for collaboration where students can use a public computer or bring their own. For more information, visit the ITS and Affiliated Computer Labs website.
Hands-on Computer Classrooms
ITS offers hands-on computer classrooms on both the Macintosh and Windows platform. For information about reserving a classroom and assistance with using these resources, see the Hands-on Computer Classrooms page.
Advanced Media Studio
Located on the 2nd floor of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Humanities and Education, the Advanced Media Studio provides professional quality services in the following areas:
- Wide-format, archival fine-art printmaking
- Laser cutting and ttching
- 3D printing
- 3D scanning
- Project development consultations
