Location of conference activities

All conference activities take place at the NYU Washington Square Campus. This is located in the Greenwich Village section of New York.

  • Registration and all parallel sessions: NYU's Main Building, 100 Washington Square East (map of rooms in the Main Building).
  • Opening and closing plenary sessions: Cantor Film Center, 36 East 8th Street.
  • Busa presentation plenary: Schimmel Auditorium at Tisch Hall, 40 West Fourth Street, lower level.
  • Receptions: Hemmerdinger Hall, ground floor of the Main Building.
  • Conference banquet: 5th Avenue Ballroom, 24 Fifth Avenue at 9th Street.

Registration

Registration will take place in Hemmerdinger Hall, ground floor of the Main Building. Pre-registration will be available from 4-6pm on Tuesday June 12th. Registration will open officially on Wednesday, June 13th at 9am, there will also be a welcoming breakfast at this time. Registration will be open on June 13th and 14th from 9am - 5pm, and on June 15th and 16th from 9am - 1pm.

At registration, you will receive your conference bag and pack, the conference program, and you will be able to pay any outstanding conference or housing fees.

Conference information desk

The ACH-ALLC 2001 information desk will be located in Hemmerdinger Hall, on the ground floor of the Main Building throughout the conference.
The information desk will be open from Wednesday June 13th - Friday June 15th from 9am - 6pm, and on Saturday 16th from 9am - 4pm. The desk will be staffed throughout the conference by helpers from NYU. A notice board will be available for messages, and a limited fax service. We will have phone cards for sale. There is an ATM in the Main building
