Managing Content

There are several ways to customize how your students see your Blackboard course.

How to add Content Items to your course (e.g. your syllabus).
How to add Folders to organize your content.
How to add URLs to direct your students to any websites that may relate to your course.
How to add Course Links to connect existing content areas in your course.
How to Copy content to another area of your course or to another course in which you are an Instructor.
How to change the order of content items and folders that you have already posted to Blackboard.

It is recommended that you first decide what the hierachy of your content will be, before adding Content to Blackboard. For example, deciding what folders will be in each Content Area, and what Content you will include in each Folder. This will make the process of uploading Content much faster and simpler.
Before getting started with uploading conent, we recommend spending some time organizing your content material into folders on your computer desktop that will mirror how you plan to organize the content on your course site.
