Overview

Blackboard offers a variety of communication and interaction tools allowing Instructors and Students to interact with each other outside of classroom meetings.

This section will cover:

1. How to post announcements to your students, so that they will be updated on class news between sessions.
2. How to send Email without having to manually collect all of your student's Email addresses.
3. How to use the Digital Drop Box, where students can store and submit files (e.g. assignments) electronically.
4. How to use the Discussion Board to promote asynchonous discussion on relevant class topics
5. How to use the Collaboration Tools to hold real-time communication sesssions.
