Welcome to the Blackboard Getting Started Assistant
The goal of the Blackboard Getting Started Assistant is to guide you through setting up a Blackboard course for the first time.
Notes about using the Assistant
- You will need to complete some instructions in a second browser window which will open automatically when you click on certain links in the Assistant.
- You will advance through the Assistant by answering questions.
- The left-hand status panel displays your progress.

The first section of the Assistant includes no more than six steps and will take you through requesting a Blackboard site for your course.
