Files 2.0 and Webspace

www.nyu.edu/its/filestorage/
ITS provides two web-based file storage and sharing solutions: Files 2.0 and Webspace. Files 2.0 is available via the NYUHome Files tab and fulfills most faculty members' personal, work, research, teaching, and learning needs. It features secure file storage, large quotas, restricted sharing, as well as the ability to host public web pages, and a user-friendly interface.

Webspace is a similar service, but is intended for use by departments who need to store potentially sensitive data, and therefore does not provide functionality for public sharing and web publication.

ITS Print Service

www.nyu.edu/its/print
ITS Print Service offers convenient and easy-to-use printing while also conserving resources and helping the environment. It includes all printing at the ITS computer labs and, with the appropriate software installed, can be used from your NYU-NET connected computer.

Faculty Accounts

www.nyu.edu/its/accounts/faculty

Faculty Digital Archive

www.nyu.edu/its/faculty/fda and http://archive.nyu.edu
The Faculty Digital Archive is a place where full-time NYU faculty can deposit their work in digital form. In the Archive, it can be shared with the world, or restricted to selected people. It is intended to be a highly visible repository of NYU faculty digital scholarship. The FDA is organized into communities and collections. Communities contain and organize collections. Collections will contain faculty content. Collections will be owned and managed by faculty, who will have responsibility for adding, making available, and removing content. ITS Client Services and the Digital Studio will be available to assist faculty in this.

Digital Image Collections

NYU provides storage and management resources for digital image collections via the NYU Libraries' subscription to ARTstor.
