ITS provides computer services, Internet resources, and telephony services to the entire University. NYU Blackboard (Online Learning)

NYU Forums (Lyris Lists)

NYU Forums are discussion lists which can be used by NYU faculty, staff, and students to exchange ideas about specialized topics, post deadlines or homework assignments, or confirm meeting changes. Forum mail may be received in an email account or accessed by using the Forum's web interface.

Supercomputing Resources

Faculty Digital Archive

The Faculty Digital Archive is a place where full-time NYU faculty can deposit their work in digital form. In the Archive, it can be shared with the world, or restricted to selected people. It is intended to be a highly visible repository of NYU faculty digital scholarship. The FDA is organized into communities and collections. Communities contain and organize collections. Collections will contain faculty content. Collections will be owned and managed by faculty, who will have responsibility for adding, making available, and removing content. ITS Client Services and the Digital Studio will be available to assist faculty in this.

Digital Image Collections

NYU provides storage and management resources for digital image collections via Luna Insight and through the NYU Libraries' subscription to ARTstor.

Instructional Technology Fellowships

Instructional Technology Pilot Testing

ITS is currently looking for faculty volunteers to help us test a number of exciting new technologies to enhance the teaching and learning environment. Good candidates are those faculty who are planning to use online instructional technologies (such as NYU Blackboard) in their courses and who are willing to pilot the new tools. The NYU Public Directory

This directory, maintained by ITS, lists all current NYU faculty, staff, and administrators, as well as students who choose to be listed. Each department at NYU has a representative that is responsible for reporting new employees and changes in directory listings.

Meetingmaker

www.nyu.edu/its/meetings/
ITS provides licensed copies of Meetingmaker software to NYU faculty, staff and administrators. Meetingmaker allows you to maintain your calendar, arrange meetings, and coordinate your schedule with anyone on the network or over the Internet. To download your copy, log into NYUHome with your NetID and password, then click on the "Work" tab at the top right. On the left side of the Meetingmaker channel, click the link for your computer's operating system to download the software. Then, click the links on the right to download information about using the software. If you have any questions about meetingmaker, please send email to meetingmaker.help@nyu.edu.
