NYU Blackboard - Problem with text box in IE7 on Vista
Description:
If you are using the Microsoft Vista operating system, the Visual Text Box Editor available when using the Internet Explorer browser must be turned off in order to type in the
text box when adding an item, folder or external link.
Resolution:
Follow the steps below to disable the Text Box Editor in Blackboard. Otherwise, consider using an alternative browser such as Firefox.
- Log into a course in Blackboard via NYUHome.
- Click the Tools button and select Personal Information.
- Select Set Visual Text Box Editor Options.
- Click the Unavailable radio button.
- Click Submit.
