Assistive Technologies
All ITS student labs have assistive technology desktop applications that are native to the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
A project room at the ITS Multimedia Center (35 West 4th Street, 2nd Floor) provides a screen reader system, voice recognition software, text to speech software, and visualization software.
The ITS Tisch Hall Lab (40 West 4th Street, LC7) has two student workstations with Zoom Text and concept visualization software situated on a height adjustable desk.
In order to utilize this software or other assistive technology, students must have the appropriate training and expertise. If you have questions about using these resources, please contact the ITS Multimedia Center at 1-212-998-3421 or the Tisch Hall Lab at 1-212-998-3409.
