  • The ITS Client Services Center, the University's main IT helpdesk, is a division of ITS' ECOMS Services and provides solutions to more than 55,000 help requests each year.

ITS' Enterprise Computing & Support Services (ECOMS Services) provides IT helpdesk services for all faculty, students, and staff, and applicationdevelopment and support for core University administrative systems;desktop support, accounts, training, publications, directory, database,and application security services.

ECOMS Services is led by ITS Executive Director Marie Gayle and comprises:

Administrative Computing Services (ADCOMS)

ITS ADCOMS provides application development, support, database, and security services for core NYU business systems serving administrators, faculty, students, parents and alumni. ADCOMS partners with University offices to build NYU's portfolio of effective business technology resources, including:

  • Student Information Systems — SIS, Albert, TorchTone, Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Bursar
  • Financial Systems — fame, eReports, Budget Integrated Application (BIA), School of Medicine BIA, Capital Projects, Grants Management
  • Human Resources/Payroll Systems — HRIS, Payroll/Benefits, PASS, Tuition Remission
  • Fund-Raising Systems — Sunguard/HE Advance, Sallie Mae
  • Data Management & Reporting/University Data Warehouse — BRIO, reporting & business intelligence services
  • Database Administration & Business Process Automation (Workflow)— Oracle, IDMS, DB2, SQL Server
  • Support Systems — Remedy, ModTrak, ProjTrak, ServTrak, and other operational resources and tools used by ITS and our partners within the University

Client Services

ITS Client Services provides IT helpdesk services for all faculty, students, and staff, as well as desktop support, accounts, training, publications, and directory services. Client Services supports the technology and computing needs of the NYU community, and is their first point of contact for technology services. Client Services comprises four core services teams:
