Peter Meyers is a Professor of American Studies at the Universite Paris III - Sorbonne Nouvelle. He is currently a Visiting Fellow in Philosophy at Princeton University. His most recent book, "Civic War and the Corruption of the Citizen" is forthcoming from the University of Chicago Press.
