The South Korean Film, "Miryang [Secret Sunshine]". . . stages forgiveness in a local context of twenty-first century, globalized Christian evangelism.

This session of the Exporting Enlightenment Seminar takes the form of a workshop led by Rey Chow.

Rey Chow is Anne Firor Scott Professor of Literature at Duke University. She is author or editor of nine books, most recently The Sentimental Fabulations, Contemporary Chinese Films: Attachment in the Age of Global Visibility (Columbia University Press, 2007).
