InterCEP Associate Director Publishes Two Academic Articles

Two research articles co-authored by InterCEP Associate Director Matt Statler have been published in recent months. The first piece, "Performing Strategy - Analogical Reasoning as Strategic Practice," was co- authored with Claus Jacobs of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and Johan Roos of the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden and appeared in the Scandinavian Journal of Management (Volume 24, 2008). The second piece, "Aesthetic Play as an Organizing Principle," was co-authored with Pierre Guillet de Monthoux of Stockholm University, and appeared as a chapter in the Sage Handbook of New Approaches in Management and Organization (2008). Both of these pieces represent Dr. Statler's ongoing efforts to develop organizational theories that can be used to describe and explain management practices that effectively promote strategic resilience in the face of unexpected change.
