InterCEP Associate Director Presents to The Clearing House

May 14, 2008 - Matt Statler, InterCEP's Associate Director, presented to The Clearing House's Business Continuity Committee on the new voluntary certification program for business preparedness. Established in 1853 to simplify the exchange of checks and improve the efficiency of the payments system, The Clearing House provides payment services for check, electronic check, ACH and wire transfer. It also includes industry forums to discuss and take action in issues critical to its owners, which include major banks and financial services firms. Dr. Statler's presentation focused on the potential significance of the preparedness certification program for the financial services industry.
