NYC Preparedness the Focus of Ford-Rockefeller-Aspen Roundtable

On December 3-5, 2007, the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Aspen Institute jointly hosted a roundtable event, “New York City's Preparedness for Terrorism and Catastrophic Natural Disasters.” Moderated by Clark Kent Ervin, Director of the Aspen Institute’s Homeland Security Program, the event included contributions from a range of experts, including Raymond W. Kelly, Commissioner, New York City Police Department, Stephen E. Flynn, Jeane J. Kirkpatrick Senior Fellow for National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, and InterCEP’s Associate Director, Dr. Matt Statler.
