InterCEP Adds Extensive Literature Review to Clearinghouse on the Business Case

August 2007 - InterCEP has advanced its continuing goal of providing a single online clearinghouse of key "business case" research to aid corporations in evaluating corporate resilience and preparedness investments. An extensive literature review has been released which is an annotated bibliography designed to provide executive decision makers with a series of articles and publications which address the business case for preparedness. Eknoor Salaria championed this initial effort during his Summer 2007 Internship, and will continue to assist the Center in advancing this database.
InterCEP compiled this information from an all- hazards perspective to encompass a variety of business disciplines including risk management, enterprise risk management, corporate resiliency, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, IT and physical security, and emergency preparedness.
This annotated bibliography is only the latest step in communicating the business case to decision makers. InterCEP is committed to continuing to build this clearinghouse as the business case for preparedness evolves in the field and with feedback from you, the business community. We intend to incorporate feedback and update this document with additional sources on a regular basis.
