InterCEP to Present Research at Academy of Management Annual Conference

Two InterCEP academic research papers have been accepted for presentation at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Conference. The first paper, Doing Well By Doing Good?: Mobilizing Corporate Resources to Disasters, was written by Dr. Matt Statler, Bill Raisch and Dr. Peter Burgi and accepted by the AOM Social Issues in Management division. This paper addresses the relationship between corporate social performance and corporate financial performance and draws on empirical data gathered by InterCEP with project support from Avaya.
The second paper, Facilitating Serious Play, was written by Dr. Matt Statler and Dr. David Oliver and accepted by the AOM Organizational Development and Change division. This paper describes an innovative technique relevant to the facilitation of organizational decision making processes, and draws on research conducted by the authors while at the Imagination Lab Foundation in Lausanne, Switzerland. The AOM Annual Conference is the largest gathering of management and organizational researchers in the world, attracting more than 7800 participants in 2006.
