Resiliency requires the forecasting of future changes in the business environment, especially those that might prove to be threats to corporate. Anticipating and defining future challenges generally prompts the investigation of potential solutions, often well in advance of need. These internal solutions could prove to be competitive advantages in event of crisis and some could also prove to be solutions that might be offered to other corporations as well on a commercial basis.
