Easier Employment Verification: The Work Number®

What is required to access this information?

If you decide a lender/verifier needs:

1. To access Employment Information, you provide the lender/verifier with:
   • NYU's company code, 10617
   • Your employee identification number
   • Ask the verifier to contact The Work Number® at www.theworknumber.com or the toll-free number at 1-800-367-5690 to pay by credit card.
2. To access Employment and Income Information, you provide the lender/verifier with:
   • NYU's company code, 10617
   • Your employee identification number
   • A Salary Key (authorization code)
   • Ask the verifier to contact The Work Number® at www.theworknumber.com or the toll-free number at 1-800-367-5690 to pay by credit card.

Social Services

To access employment verification for Social Services, you provide the agency with:

• NYU's Company Code, 10617
• Your employee identification number
• Ask the agency to contact The Work Number® at www.theworknumber.com or the toll-free number at 1-800-660-3399.

Note: If the agency is not a registered user they should visit the website at www.theworknumber.com or call at 1-800-660-3399 for registration instructions.

You approve the release of salary information by providing the verifier with a Salary Key (authorization code).
