Easier Employment Verification: The Work Number®

What information will be provided to lenders/verifiers?

You decide how much information your verifier needs. THE WORK NUMBER® provides two levels of verification--Employment Verification and Income Verification.

1. Employment Verification (usually required for reference checks)
   • Name
   • Employment Status--active or separated
   • Employment dates--most recent start date or separation date
   • Length of most recent employment with NYU
   • Position Title
2. Income Verification (usually required for mortgages and major loans)
   • All Employment Verification information above PLUS
   • Rate of Pay
   • Gross earnings year to date including base pay and overtime
   • Gross earnings for the prior two years
