NYU's HR Information Services manages the electronic and physical storage of (non-faculty) employee information, assuring the appropriate availability, quality, integrity and confidentiality of the information and providing technology tools that respond to the human resource information needs of management.

Employee Records and Systems

Our services include:

  • Supporting the maintenance and upgrading of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related tools including the Personnel Action Submission System (PASS)
  • Training HR Officers and managers on use of HRIS, PASS and related tools
  • Maintaining the HR web site
  • Overseeing the verification of employment process provided to employees
  • Maintaining and auditing employee information and files; ensuring data (electronic and paper) is accurate and maintained in compliance with standards of confidentiality, University policies and legal requirements
