COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT Between SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION (SEIU), Local 32BJ and NEW YORK UNIVERSITY
July 1, 2005 - June 30, 2008

Section 29. PENSIONS

  1. The Building Service Pension Fund shall continue in force and effect in accordance with its provisions, which includes the power of its Trustees to revise the amounts of the pension benefits and the conditions under which benefits will be paid, and to continue to cover such employees of other employers in or connected with the industry for whom contributions are paid, provided such coverage is in compliance with law.
  2. The Employer shall pay into the Fund the sum of forty-three dollars and seventy-five cents ($43.75) per week for every employee working 20 hours or more per week.
  3. Effective January 1, 2006 the Employer shall pay into the Fund the sum of forty-nine dollars and seventy-five cents ($49.75) per week for every employee working 20 hours or more per week.
  4. Effective January 1, 2007, the Employer shall pay into the Fund the sum of fifty-eight dollars and seventy-five cents ($58.75) per week for every employee working 20 hours or more per week.
  5. Employees are eligible to participate in the New York University Supplemental Tax Deferred Annuity Plan. All contributions to this Plan are made by employees through salary reduction Agreements. Benefits are provided under annuity contracts with the designated insurance companies and custodial accounts invested in designated mutual funds.
