Section 16. LAYOFFS

In the event of layoffs of employees covered by this Agreement, seniority in employment shall prevail whenever compatible with work requirements, which compatibility shall be judged solely by the employer. In the event of a reduction in force, the Employer may not require any of the remaining employees to perform more work.
