ARTICLE 25 - PROBATIONARY PERIOD
Each employee shall be on probationary status during the first 3 months of
employment, [excluding time lost for sickness and other leaves of absence].
During, or at the end of the probationary period, the Employer may discharge
any such employee and such discharge shall not be subject to the grievance and
arbitration provisions of this Agreement. Extension of the probationary period
may be agreed upon by the Employer and the Union.
