ARTICLE 38 - SAVING CLAUSE

In the event that any legislation, governmental regulation or court decision causes invalidation of any Article or Section of this Agreement, all other Articles and Sections not so invalidated shall remain in full force and effect.

Upon a clause being so invalidated, the parties to this Agreement shall meet in order to negotiate a replacement at no greater cost to the Employer. If the parties fail to reach an agreement as to a replacement clause, the matter may be submitted to arbitration as provided for in this Agreement.
