PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL POLICYNew York University may require a job-related medical examination after an offer of employment has been made to a job applicant and prior to the commencement of employment for certain job categories. To date, those categories include all service and security positions (object code 107) and all positions at the David B. Kriser Dental Center and University Health Center. New York University also reserves the right to require medical examinations (fitness for duty exams) when there is a need to determine whether an employee is still able to perform the essential functions of his or her job. |
